Submission of text must be in electronic form. Proposals, full papers, biographies etc. may be in RTF or LaTeX formats. Please adhere to the formatting requirements for camera ready papers below.

Please note that we aim to publish the conference proceedings in both printed and on-line/CD-ROM form.

FORMATTING REQUIREMENTS FOR CAMERA-READY PAPERS Please adhere to the following format constraints. Papers incorrectly formatted may miss out on publication.
Paper title	14pt Times Bold Centred
Authors' names	12pt Times Centred
Affiliation & email address	11pt Times Centred
Major section headings	12pt Times Bold Numbering example: 1. Introduction
Sub-section headings	12pt Times Bold Numbering example: 1.1 Introduction to Synthesis
Body text	11pt Times 1.5 spaced (not single or double spaced), single column. Right and left justified
Diagram captions	9pt Times Centred beneath diagram. Numbering example: Fig.1: A MIDI Synthesizer
Document size	A4 document size (not US-letter please) 2.5cm left margin 1.5cm top/bottom/right margin
Page numbering	Maximum of 10 pages including bibilography and appendices. Please do not number pages.
References section heading	12pt Times Bold This section must be called References (not Bibliography) and must not be section numbered.
References list	11pt Times. List references in the order they appear in the text. Indicate references in the text by numbering them in the order they appear. For example: [1], [2,3] or [4 pp76-77] as appropriate.
Footnotes	9pt Times. Number footnotes 1,2... n from the start to the finish of the document. Footnotes should start with a capital letter and end with one of the following punctuation marks .!?

If you wish to have your materials returned following the production of the Second Iteration documentation, please include a stamped, self-addressed envelope of appropriate size.

Second Iteration is not responsible for any loss or damage of material during transit. Second Iteration will take every care with submitted material once it arrives but makes no guarantee about the safe-keeping of submitted material. Please do not send master/original copies of irreplaceable works.

SUBMITTING FROM OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA

Submissions from outside Australia may encounter customs delays. Please ensure adequate time if sending material through the international mail system. We recommend the use of an international courier for fastest delivery. Please mark all international submissions "Educational material only. No commercial value", the conference will not pay for tariffs or customs charges incurred.
