LRMW got its first D90 SW the other day. I got a look at it. Alpine White. The internal hoop has the perfected rubber cladding around to prevent noggin' knockin' and the console, massive as it is, is reasonably attractive! It has TWO sets of drink holders!! I hope LR doesn't try and compete with Chrysler minivans in the cupholder wars!!!
The new A/C unit is a little smoother looking, but yes, the interior evap/condenser unit still takes up its share of foot room in the passenger well...
Numeric sequence started all over again and a simple number only - no SW or anything like that. This on I believe was #0121 or thereabouts. So yes, at least production will hit four figures!!
I starts instantly and one quickly realizes the the OBD2 engine management is lurking in there somewhere. The seat belt lamp stays lit until you buckle up!! Instruments look a little more refined and I seem to thing that all gauge faces are glass - they may hold up a little better in the scratch department than the older ones...
The rest of it is pure '95 D90SW except no more cloth tweed on the seats - same as ragtop..
The new owner was stalking behind me and we cobbled up HER accessory list - inlcuding M10000 warn/ARB bumper setup! Hopefully, we'll see her off road with the rest of the Club in the near future...
