Subject: Copper brake lines

In the UK, you can't find brake-sized copper pipe, except as proper brake pipe from somewhere like Automech. It's a copper alloy with about 5% nickel, and perfect for brake pipes.

In the US, airconditioner pipe is widely available. Small, pure copper, work-hardens with vehicle vibration and cracks easily. Death-on-a-stick for brake pipes.
