1998: Check Land Rover Discovery dashboards carefully as the warranty period end ... quite a number have exhibited cracks and curling and L-R replace them under warranty.
1999 December: Just thought I'd let you know that Landrover are replacing the dash on my Discovery '94/300, finally. The dealer who's doing it has been averaging about 40 a month. A friend of mine has a P red disco and that's started to curl as well. It must be costing Landrover a small fortune.
I just think it's disgusting that they only acted on the problem after that ITV program [UK television channel]. I've got a letter from them 6 months ago refusing to do anything. Amazing the power of TV.
