Stumbles in the Alps
The further Adventures of Macpac* Man in New Zealand's Southern Alps
January 2004

After last year's fun-filled month of climbing, I've been eager to get back to the land of Weet Bix mountains. This time, not only did I manage to get myself over here, I convinced Caroline, Greg (Marmot Man) and Sophie (Camp Mum) to head over as well... bonus!

The first week of climbing was on the NZAC annual camp in the Hopkins Valley. Later, after travelling around with Caroline for a couple of weeks, I had a few days to climb at Arthur's Pass when I could drag myself from the well-equipped club lodge and the nearby Oscar's Haus coffee shop.
