Early Adventure Games such as Zork and Beyond Zork relied on
the simple text descriptions to transport a player to other worlds
as rich as his or her imagination. No marvel of computer graphics
can approach the complexity and atmosphere of these spaces.
The player interacts with the world by typing simple commands such as 'Go North' 'Get leaflet' 'Say Hello'.
The game responds by describing the scene and the behaviour of the characters inhabiting the world being explored.
