As a passing aphorism, consider the dream. It is perhaps, only dreams that are the ultimate in terms of escaping the frame or screen. The dreamer is completely liberated from the bounds of the rectangle, but there is still the question of a cultural frame that surrounds the dreamscapes potential for the interpretation of reality.
