--- LCB --- 13 Sep 2002 --------------------------------------------------------
I used Gimp to convert all door panels to a flat texture with colour
<0.29, 0.33, 0.44> (in Gimp the Colour Picker reports this as 73,84,112).
For animations, I suspect the extensive use of images maps will slow down
the rendering. So I've replaced all references to the door panel-jpeg's with
a pigment rgb <0.29, 0.33, 0.44>. I suppose I should do the same for
the windows, but they look good, so I'm inclinded to leave them as they are.

--- LCB --- 14 Sep 2002 --------------------------------------------------------
I changed the colours of the doors etc. to <0.13,0.31,0.51> = (33,80,130)
I didn't change the colours on the signs. Just for effect. No other reason.

NOTES

This model was originally created using Corel CAD and Caligari trueSpaceSE and
was based on plans produced by Gene Fender of the tardis prop from the late
Baker and Peter Davison period. It has been reworked slightly in Cinema4D
release 6 but uses no special features and should work in any 3D software
capable of importing 3DS files. The geometry reimports fine into Cinema4D but
some textures need to be reapplied as cubic maps. The textures were created
using Corel Photopaint 9 and Corel Xara 1.5.

The Tardis and Dr Who are the Copyright of The BBC.
This model should not be used for profit making or promotional purposes.
The model is supplied 'as is' and no warranties are given.
If you use and enjoy this model I would love to get your feedback and due
credit if you publish any images on the web.
