RCA RADIO and TRANSMITTING TUBES from 1942 including the introduction the most famous bottle of all time, the 807 . In 1942 the world was going through one of the most miserable epochs in human history. Some extra-ordinary good things were done and some of these good things were these vacuum tube power devices were being made and marketed by RCA. This copy of the RCA compendium for 1942 was given to me by Mr Nigel Holmes VK3DZ from the ABC technical library. I thought it was time to digitise it and put it up for all those who actually know what an 807 is. the prices are current for 1942, when the average working mans wage was only a few dollars. Forgive the moire fringing, this was a scan of a scanned photcopy and is the best I can do. Enjoy the RCA Guide for Transmitting Tubes for engineers and experimenters |
