CSE2325/3325 : What's New?
Check
this page regularly for updates and information
- 22 June
- I will offer one more pre-examination consultation session as follows: Monday 25th June 2.30 - 3.30pm (Room 144, building 63, South Wing). Please be on time as it will have to finish at 3.30pm.
- 18 June
- Happy studying! I will have two pre-examination consultation sessions this week as follows: Wednesday 20 June 11am - 12.30am and Thursday 2.30pm - 4pm. (Room 144, building 63, South Wing).
If enough people come to the sessions this week I will have another session next Monday 25th June. If few people show up this week however I will not hold a session next week... get in early! :-) I will place a note here if there is to be a session next week. Please don't email me unless you have a clash with *both* sessions this week in which case I will certainly consider your case.
- 11 June
- (i) Peer assessment feedback is available for your assignments (ii) Peer assessment marks are available for your assignments.
- Please note that ranking data from those students who assessed their own assignments has been deleted from the marks database of their own group so as to make the system fair. Rankings these students made for other groups has been maintained. Written assessments these students made of their own group have been left "as is" since they do not impact on the final results.
- Pre-examination consultation sessions will be organised during the week commencing Monday 18th June. If you have questions that you wish to ask prior to that time (i.e. if you are organised with your study time :-) , you may email me to make an appointment and I will be happy to answer questions before next week.
- 31 May
- Due to a bug in the peer-assessment system (which has now (hopefully) been fixed), timely peer assessment login has been extended until midnight Saturday, 2nd June. Please let me know by email if you have any further problems. Apologies for the inconvenience!
- 28 May
- Reminder: The peer assessment task part 2 needs to be completed this week.
- As discussed in the lecture on Thursday. If you wish (even at this late stage) you may add to your *splash page* a link that points directly to a file containing any source code you would like to show to your peers. This is not compulsary but if you have done some good coding and you want to show it off, this is the best way to do so. Please note that any code you have not written yourselves *must* be clearly attributed to the original authors. (The lecturer will be checking this.)
- 21 May
- Having trouble getting your users.monash.edu.au CGI scripts writing to the directory? Have a look at the users.monash about page for assistance (authcate login required).
- 7 May
- 2 May
- Please note: due to the disruption caused by the cancellation of classes on 16-18 April on the Clayton campus, we will most likely need to cover some new material at the start of week 13 of this semester in what is usually scheduled as a revision lecture.
- 30 March
- The online mark retrieval system is available for you to access the marks for part 1 of the assignment. (Not that these are as important as the feedback you have already received.)
- 18 March
- After much building moving (I am now located in building 63, room 144 if you need to come and see me), power outages etc. please find online access to the peer assessment system to receive the feedback given by your peers concerning your websites. The final mark for your assignment (part 1) will be uploaded as soon as my office is reinstalled! (Hopefully in the next couple of days).
- 30 March
- 28 March
- Please register your assignment groups... the database has been updated with the current enrollment lists!
