Computer Science: Third Year
Welcome, and General Info.
CSE3301/CSC3010: Third Year Project
Students majoring in Computer Science (except for BCSE students)
must take either
- CSE3301/CSC3010 (Project), or
- CSE3302/CSC3020 (Software Engineering Project).
In fact, students who started a BCompSci in 1999 or later must do
the Software Engineering Project.
If you do CSE3301/CSC3010, then you need to:
- Consult the list of available project topics, either
via link below or on 3rd Year (Physical) Notice Board
(near General Office, School of CS&SE, Ground Floor,
Faculty of IT Building (No. 63));
- Enter your preferences via web:
see link below (note that you
should rank all topics, not just your favourites, because
it is usually not possible to give everyone their top choices (also some
topics are only for a small number of students, and some are provisional).
- Consult 3rd Year (Physical) Notice Board or the project selection
web page after Tuesday 21st December 1999 to find
out what project you have been allocated, and when and where its meetings are;
- Familiarise yourself with the Notes on Project Report (see link below);
- Do the project.
