First Iteration will bring together an exciting international gathering of artists, software developers, musicians, architects, theorists and computer scientists.

Get ready for three intense days of new ideas, critical debate and information exchange; alongside a premier exhibition and performance program.

The conference will be held at Monash University's new Art & Design building at the Caulfield campus. The DCM designed building boasts a state-of-the-art lecture theatre with multi-screen projection, Macintosh and PC facilities and high speed Internet access. A large gallery space will form the primary exhibition site for the exhibition component of the conference.

The conference workshops will be held at the Art & Design computing laboratories, equipped with the latest B+W G3 Macintosh computers.

The Art & Design building also features a number of exhibition spaces that will be used as part of the conference exhibition program, allowing easy access from the main conference venues.
