Descriptive statistics

The beginning of virtually all data analysis is the extraction of the descriptive statistics.

As the name implies, Descriptive Statistics are designed to describe the structure of the data. They give you the necessary information to be able to draw some basic conclusions about the adequacy of your data.

Frequency distribution

The most basic description of your data comes from a simple frequency table or plot.
